Group Therapy
Positive Dependence
Positive Dependence group is designed for individuals who want to work on the ways in which they relate to others in important relationships in their lives. The focus is on learning to depend on oneself and others in a mutual and empowering fashion, as opposed to being over-dependent, or afraid to love or depend at all. In Positive Dependence group, members will learn building block concepts, as well as coping skills, tools, and resources to apply to themselves in relationships with others. Topics of focus in Positive Dependence group include: Difficulties with Boundaries, Caretaking At The Expense Of Oneself, Resentment, Guilt, Depression, Anxiety, and Problematic Communication Styles. Positive Dependence groups are 75 minutes long and meet once a week for 20 weeks.
